Velina is a graphic designer, illustrator and art director with over thirty years of experience. Her vocational training began only at the age of eight. Her father, a master in book design and typography, educates and "disciplines" her design thinking. Thus, she gradually shows and reveals the horizon of this art.

Her professional career also began early. She created the first logo for company at the age of nineteen during her studies at the Art Academy. After years of difficult economic transitions for Bulgaria, during this time she is a freelancer and collaborates as a designer and illustrator of periodicals. She founded the graphic department of a large trading company with a chain of stores. She works for brands like Gillette, Revlon, Bourjois, Wrigley.

From 1997 to 2004, Velina was a successful art director at McCann Ericson, working for Nestle, Opel, Coca-Cola and contributing to the success of the agency, which became Agency of the Year for two consecutive years.

In 2004, she co-founded Enthusiasm, and from the start, there was a clear focus on brand identity. In those years, the creation of a brand was not always a comprehensible subject for business in Bulgaria. In just two years, from a studio, Enthusiasm became a design agency and created branding for some of the most successful Bulgarian businesses. Although Enthusiasm is not an advertising agency, for several years it has been in the top 5 of Bulgarian advertising agencies, among which are the Bulgarian offices of international agencies.

Velina is the initiator and co-founder of Art Directors Club Bulgaria. Her work won prestigious international and Bulgarian awards. She is often invited to design juries, a spokesperson for professional forums and an author in periodicals.
